The Door: for thereisnocure4meA young little mortal
Alone in a room,
Surrounded by darkness,
Sadness and gloom

Demons running around the room,
Cackling madly,
The mortal in a corner,
Watching them sadly

The young mortal starts to cry,
She feels empty and alone,
She's unlike the demons,
This darkness isn't her home

A door in the black,
That opens into light,
Grasping the darkness
And squeezing it tight

Strangling the demons
That dwell in that room,
Saving the young mortal
From eternal blindness and doom

She stares at it dumbly,
And takes in the light,
She steps out the door,
Now everything is alright
